Peso Pluma leads 2026 Billboard Latin Music Awards nominations
The finalists for the 2026 Billboard Latin Music Awards have been announced, with Mexican singer Peso Pluma leading the list with 17 nominations. He is competing in major categories including Artist of the Year and Regional Mexican Artist of the Year, Solo. He is followed by Tito Double P with 15 nominations and Fuerza Regida with 12.
In the female categories, Colombian artist Karol G leads with nine nominations, including Artist of the Year and Tour of the Year. Other notable nominees include Prince Royce with eight nominations, Bad Bunny with seven, and Ozuna, who is competing in the Latin Rhythm Artist of the Year category.
Dominican artists also show strong representation, particularly in the tropical genre. Prince Royce and Romeo Santos are both nominated for Tropical Artist of the Year, Solo, while Dalvin La Melodía has received his first career nomination for Top Tropical Album of the Year for ‘La Bachata Volvió’. The group Aventura and the duo Monchy & Alexandra are also among the finalists.
The awards ceremony is scheduled for October 22, 2026, at the James L. Knight Center in Miami and will be broadcast live on Telemundo and Peacock. This edition introduces a new ‘Artist of the Fans’ category, where the winner will be chosen directly by the public.
