Peso Pluma music award nominations

Mexican singer Peso Pluma has achieved significant recognition through multiple major music award nominations in 2026.

In August, the artist received four nominations for the Premios Juventud, including Best Mexican Music Album for ‘Dinastía’ and Best Tour for the ‘Dinastía Tour’. This followed commercial milestones such as a sold-out 36-concert tour in the United States and his album ‘Dinastía’ reaching number one on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums and Regional Mexican Albums charts.

By September, Peso Pluma emerged as a leader for the 2026 Billboard Latin Music Awards with 17 nominations. He is a finalist in several major categories, including Artist of the Year, Regional Mexican Artist of the Year, Solo, and Top Latin Album of the Year for ‘Dinastia’ with Tito Double P. The high volume of nominations for Peso Pluma, Tito Double P (15 nominations), and Fuerza Regida (12 nominations) highlights the growing dominance of the Regional Mexican genre in the Latin music market.

Other notable finalists for the ceremony include Karol G, who leads among female artists with nine nominations, Bad Bunny with seven, and Prince Royce with eight. The awards ceremony, which will feature 47 categories and a new ‘Artist of the Fans’ category chosen by the public, is scheduled to be broadcast live from the James L. Knight Centre in Miami on October 22, 2026, via Telemundo and Peacock.

In addition to the Regional Mexican dominance, the nominations show strong representation from Dominican artists in the tropical genre. Prince Royce and Romeo Santos are both nominated for Tropical Artist of the Year, Solo, while Dalvin La Melodía has received his first career nomination for Top Tropical Album of the Year for ‘La Bachata Volvió’. The group Aventura and the duo Monchy & Alexandra are also among the finalists.
