Pete Crow-Armstrong and Chase Meidroth pose for photo at Bears game

Chicago Cubs center fielder Pete Crow-Armstrong and Chicago White Sox second baseman Chase Meidroth drew attention after posing for a photo together during a Chicago Bears game. Crow-Armstrong reportedly warned fans before the photo was taken, stating, “People are gonna hate this!” due to the rivalry between the two Chicago baseball teams.

Crow-Armstrong, 24, was recently named the Sporting News MLB Player of the Year in a vote involving nearly 260 players and 18 executives. Meidroth, an AL Gold Glove finalist, led American League second basemen with a plus-10 fielding run value according to Statcast.

In recent comments regarding his performance, Crow-Armstrong noted the importance of mental breaks during games to avoid burnout, stating that players must occasionally let their minds wander to effectively refocus on the game.
