Peter Okoye says 2021 P‑Square reunion was staged, details family feud

Peter “Mr P” Okoye posted a series of videos claiming the widely publicised 2021 P‑Square reunion was never intended to revive the duo, but only to mend his relationship with his twin brother Paul “Rudeboy” Okoye. He said the reunion was a façade and that after it, Paul and their elder brother and former manager Jude Okoye asked him to sign documents to re‑establish P‑Square under a new bank account, which he refused.

Okoye also alleged a ₦90 million loan dispute between Paul and Jude, and that prospective buyers offered billions of naira for the P‑Square catalogue before the deal collapsed due to irregularities. The brothers originally split in 2017 over management, finances and creative control, briefly reconciled in November 2021, and the feud resurfaced in 2024, with Paul confirming the group no longer exists.
