Petrobras partners with Senai to offer free vocational courses and scholarships in Brazil

Petrobras and the National Service for Industrial Training (Senai) have launched the "Autonomia e Renda Petrobras" program, providing free professional courses across 46 municipalities in 11 Brazilian states. The initiative targets people in vulnerable situations, offering a basic monthly scholarship of R$660 and up to R$1,158 for women with children under 11 years. Additional food‑allowance benefits of up to R$300 may also be granted, subject to attendance requirements.

Courses cover a wide range of industrial fields, including mechanics, welding, electrotechnics, maintenance, safety, construction, metallurgy, energy, petroleum, gas, automation and related trades such as industrial electrician and scaffold assembler. The program aims to create roughly 20,000 training opportunities over four years, helping participants improve employability and income prospects. Applications are accepted until the end of July 2026.
