Petrosol CEO predicts stable fuel prices in Ghana

Fuel prices in Ghana are expected to remain stable during the next pricing window, according to Michael Bozumbil, CEO of Petrosol. The outlook is driven by a combination of falling international crude oil prices and the relative stability of the Ghana cedi against the US dollar.

Bozumbil stated that while his team is still finalizing exact calculations, current trends suggest that consumers should not expect a price increase. He noted that in previous cycles, benefits from lower global oil prices were often offset by a depreciating cedi, but the current currency stability is helping to maintain price equilibrium. While a price reduction is possible, the CEO did not confirm a specific decrease, stating that the final direction depends on the completion of the current computations.
