Petrozenima and Alamein Petroleum approve 2025/2026 fiscal results
The general assemblies of Petrozenima and Alamein Petroleum have approved their business results for the 2025/2026 fiscal year. The meetings emphasized that human safety, asset protection, and production facility integrity are central pillars of a five-year plan aimed at increasing petroleum production.
Salah Abdel Karim, CEO of the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation, highlighted the importance of intensive training and safety awareness to support sustainability, infrastructure efficiency, cost reduction, and digital and energy transformation.
In discussions regarding Petrozenima and Petromel, officials reaffirmed commitments to a five-year plan involving drilling programs and reserve development. Additionally, the National Petroleum Company (TD) expressed support for accelerating work agreements in the Mazhal area, with production increase targets set for the first quarter of 2027. Petrozenima also reported efforts to utilize new exploratory studies to maximize current production and manage remaining reserves of approximately 4 million barrels.
