Peugeot 208 Leads French New‑Car Sales in July 2026
In July 2026 the Peugeot 208 remained the top‑selling new car in France, with 44,414 registrations representing 4.5% of the market. It stayed ahead of the Dacia Sandero, which recorded 37,978 sales, a gap of 6,436 units. The Peugeot 2008 moved into third place, overtaking the Renault Clio VI, while the electric Renault 5 E‑Tech closed the gap with the Tesla Model Y, now only 580 units behind.
Citroën launched a summer promotion offering the electric ë‑Berlingo Van at a net price of 80,160 zł, an eight‑year warranty and discounted service packages. Additional deals include low‑interest leasing, rental options, and special “Collection” trim levels for models such as the C3, C3 Aircross and C4, with bonuses up to 17,500 zł for selected electric cars. The offers run until the end of August 2026.
