Peugeot launches 5008 GT Hybrid Cielo SUV in Japan

Stellantis Japan announced the release of the Peugeot 5008 GT Hybrid Cielo, a special‑edition version of its 7‑seat flagship SUV, on 9 July. The model is priced at ¥6,386,000 and will be sold through all Peugeot dealerships nationwide.

The Cielo trim adds a panoramic glass roof with an electric sunshade, laminated front‑side windows to reduce noise, and an air‑quality system that monitors external air and filters cabin particles. It is offered in three colours – Ingaro Blue, Okenite White and Perlanera Black – and builds on the GT Alkantara package with additional comfort features.

The 5008 GT Hybrid, originally launched earlier this year, combines a hybrid powertrain with Peugeot’s i‑Cockpit design, targeting families and leisure users seeking spacious, versatile transport.
