Peugeot launches high‑performance electric models E‑3008 SUV and e‑208 GTi hot hatch
Peugeot’s new electric SUV, the E‑3008 Allure, was tested at Autohaus Groß Siegharts in Austria. The model is powered by a 213 hp electric motor, offers up to a 98 kWh battery delivering a WLTP range of around 700 km, and provides a spacious 520‑litre boot. It features a large panoramic i‑Cockpit, driver‑assist systems such as lane‑keeping, traffic‑sign recognition and parking‑assistance, and is available in four trim levels with optional all‑wheel drive.
In Germany, the Peugeot e‑208 GTi hot hatch was highlighted for its 281 hp (207 kW) front‑motor and mechanical limited‑slip differential, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.5 seconds. Leasing is advertised at €204 per month for a three‑year term with a €1,290 upfront fee, based on a €44,900 list price and inclusive of a €6,000 electric‑vehicle incentive. The e‑208 GTi offers up to 352 km WLTP range and tops out around 180 km/h. Both models showcase Peugeot’s push into high‑performance electric vehicles for families and enthusiasts.
