Peugeot marks 30 years of Partner van and 10 years of Traveller MPV
Peugeot is celebrating a double milestone in its light‑commercial‑vehicle range. The Partner van, launched in 1996, turns 30 and has sold more than 2.6 million units across three generations. The latest third generation, introduced in 2018 and updated in 2023, sits on the EMP2 platform, features the i‑Cockpit and is now offered as the fully electric E‑Partner, with a mild‑hybrid version planned for 2027. New body styles such as the Partner Active and the rugged Partner Pro Skill have also been unveiled.
The company is also marking the 10th anniversary of the Traveller MPV, introduced in 2016. The Traveller is praised for its modular interior, spacious cabin and versatility, serving both families and professional customers. Both models have become mainstays of the European compact van market, underpinning Peugeot’s strategy to expand its commercial‑vehicle portfolio while moving toward electrification.
