Peugeot Partner van expansion

In late June 2026 Peugeot launched a new generation of its Partner compact van in Argentina, featuring higher payload capacity, larger cargo volume and the i‑Cockpit suite, while also debuting the 5008 SUV in Mexico with premium interior and advanced driver‑assist systems.

The brand marked the Partner’s 30‑year anniversary at the IAA Transportation show in Hannover, highlighting cumulative sales of more than 2.6 million units across three generations. The current third generation, introduced in 2018 and refreshed in 2023 on the EMP2 platform, now offers gasoline, diesel, the fully electric E‑Partner and a mild‑hybrid version slated for 2027, all equipped with i‑Cockpit technology.

At the same event Peugeot unveiled two professional‑oriented variants: the Partner Pro Skill, aimed at demanding work sites with higher ground clearance and a Construction package, and the Partner Active, launched in June 2026, which adds a modular Flexiseat that can expand cargo space by up to 0.5 m³.

A related milestone was the 10‑year anniversary of the Traveller MPV, introduced in 2016. The Traveller’s modular interior and versatile cabin have made it a staple for families and businesses alike, reinforcing Peugeot’s broader strategy to broaden its light‑commercial‑vehicle portfolio while progressing toward electrification.
