Peugeot updates 408 and 308 models with new features
Peugeot has introduced updates to its vehicle lineup, including refinements to the 408 SUV-coupé and the 308 hatchback.
The updated Peugeot 408 features a subtle facelift with new ‘three-claw’ design daytime running lights and rear lights, alongside an illuminated logo and brand name. The model has received a minor power increase, now delivering approximately 240 hp. A new ‘Flare Green’ paint option is also available. The plug-in hybrid version offers an electric range of roughly 70 km, though charging speeds remain limited to 3.7 kW as standard, with a 7.4 kW option available on higher trims.
The Peugeot 308 has also undergone a facelift, focusing on driver ergonomics and assistance technology. Key features include the i-Cockpit with a 10-inch touchscreen and customizable ‘i-Toggles’ that allow drivers to access frequent functions like navigation or climate settings with a single touch. For urban driving and traffic congestion, the Drive Assist 2.0 package provides adaptive cruise control with Stop & Go functionality and lane-keeping assistance.
