Phú Thọ police charge 21 people in traditional medicine fraud case

Police in Phú Thọ province have initiated a criminal case and charged 21 individuals, including Nguyễn Tiến Đạt, with "deceiving customers." The investigation involves the fraudulent production and advertising of traditional medicine products on social media.

According to investigators, the group used manipulated images and videos of celebrities alongside exaggerated claims regarding the efficacy and quality of products, such as "Xương khớp bà Sáu," to induce sales. Đạt reportedly purchased products from N. A. Pharmaceutical Materials Co., Ltd for 23,000 VND each and resold them via social media for 199,000 VND. Between May and July 2026, the group successfully processed 5,429 orders nationwide.
