Philadelphia investigation into missing women enters new phase
Investigators have entered a new phase in a high-profile investigation centered on a home in the Olney neighborhood of Philadelphia. Authorities are returning to the property on West Chew Avenue, previously occupied by Eugene Horsch and his late father, Raymond “R. C.” Horsch, to conduct an extensive search.
The investigation has linked seven women to the property, most of whom have been reported missing. While Philadelphia police stated they have viewed video footage of the apparent strangulation of one woman, no bodies or human remains have been recovered at the site thus far. Previous searches of the residence uncovered a home laboratory and hard drives containing over one million digital files.
City officials and the FBI are involved in the operation, which is expected to continue until mid-October. Residents have been warned to expect significant disruptions, including street blockages, the use of heavy machinery, and a continuous police presence. Eugene Horsch is currently being held on a federal firearms charge following a vehicle stop in June.
