Philippine Airlines launches Australian flash sale as it finalizes widebody jet orders
Philippine Airlines (PAL) is running a three‑day flash sale from July 15‑17, 2026, offering Australian travelers up to 35% off base fares on selected routes. The promotion applies to travel from August 1, 2026 onwards and covers economy and premium cabins on flights from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth to destinations across the Philippines, with full‑service amenities and expanded capacity on key Australian routes.
Separately, Reuters reports that PAL is close to signing a widebody order at the Farnborough Airshow. The carrier is expected to purchase 15 Boeing 787‑10 Dreamliners and nine Airbus A350‑1000 aircraft, adding to its fleet that already includes A350‑1000s delivered in December 2025 and June 2026 and several Boeing 777‑300ERs. The potential deal would mark PAL’s first acquisition of the 787‑10 model.
