Philippine authorities conduct drug busts in Toledo City and Davao City

Law enforcement agencies in the Philippines conducted several anti-drug operations in Toledo City and Davao City, resulting in multiple arrests and the seizure of suspected shabu.

In Toledo City, authorities carried out two consecutive buy-bust operations in Barangay DAS on August 21, 2026. Three individuals were apprehended, including Angel Grace Laruap Nelmida, Rodrick Jhun Paragoso Cañete, and Jerry Rivera Codeniera. Police seized approximately 1.65 grams of suspected shabu with a combined estimated value of ₱11,220.

In Davao City, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) 11 dismantled a suspected drug den in Barangay 33-D. Four individuals were arrested, including an alleged den maintainer and an employee. Authorities recovered nine sachets of suspected shabu weighing approximately 20 grams, valued at ₱136,000, along with drug paraphernalia.

Additionally, the Police Regional Office 11 reported that a series of operations across the Davao Region from August 20 to 21 resulted in the seizure of 58.43 grams of suspected shabu and 0.1 gram of marijuana, with a total estimated value of ₱397,336.
