Philippine law enforcement anti-drug operations

Philippine law enforcement agencies have conducted a series of anti-drug and anti-criminality operations across several cities, including Toledo, Davao, and Zamboanga.

In late August 2026, operations in Toledo City and Davao City resulted in the arrest of several individuals and the seizure of suspected shabu and marijuana. In Davao City, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) 11 dismantled a suspected drug den, while regional operations yielded approximately 58.43 grams of suspected shabu. By the end of the month, the scale of enforcement increased. In Zamboanga City, a joint operation dismantled another alleged drug den in Barangay San Roque. Concurrently, the Davao City Police Office reported a week-long drive that led to the arrest of 103 individuals and the seizure of nearly ₱1.97 million worth of illegal drugs, including over 10 kilograms of marijuana.

On August 31, 2026, further operations were reported in Davao City, where a joint operation led to the arrest of a suspected high-value individual and the seizure of 21.48 grams of suspected shabu valued at approximately ₱146,064. In Cagayan de Oro City, authorities conducted a buy-bust operation resulting in the arrest of a suspected high-value individual known as “Orok”, recovering 110 grams of suspected shabu valued at ₱748,000.

On September 8, 2026, operations continued in Davao del Sur and General Santos City. In Malalag, authorities arrested a 27-year-old suspect known as “Dom”, seizing 57 grams of suspected shabu valued at ₱780,000, along with marijuana leaves, kush, and oil cartridges. In General Santos City, a coordinated effort led to the arrest of three high-value suspects identified as “Naro,” “Jolt,” and “Kick,” with the recovery of approximately 200.8 grams of suspected shabu valued at ₱1,365,440.
