Law enforcement seizes massive cocaine haul in Trinidad and conducts drug raids in Philippines

In Trinidad, police conducted an intelligence-led operation in Longdenville, seizing approximately 416.5 kilograms of cocaine. The narcotics, hidden inside four large backhoe tyres, have an estimated street value of $193,522,560. Three individuals were detained, including a 42-year-old businessman from the British Virgin Islands and two Saint Lucian nationals.

In the Philippines, law enforcement agencies have conducted several successful anti-drug operations. In Davao City, a joint operation led to the arrest of a suspected high-value individual and the seizure of 21.48 grams of suspected shabu valued at approximately ₱146,064. Separately, the Davao City Police Office reported arresting 103 suspects and seizing over ₱1.9 million worth of illegal drugs during a week-long series of operations.

In Cagayan de Oro City, authorities arrested a suspected high-value individual known as “Orok” during a buy-bust operation. Police recovered 110 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated value of ₱748,000. These actions are part of ongoing intelligence-driven efforts by regional police and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency to disrupt local drug distribution networks.
