Philippine Pickleball Growth Fuels Billion‑Peso Helios Center and Coaching Tour

The Philippinespickleball scene is expanding rapidly, with the Philippine Pickleball Federation reporting 492 affiliated clubs, more than 46,400 registered players and 427 venues nationwide. The sport now reaches communities through 86 dedicated courts located in 29 malls across Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

Robinsons Land and Kosmas Athletic Ventures are committing up to ₱1 billion to build the Helios Pickleball Center, Asia’s first tournament‑grade facility featuring 25 professional courts and a 2,000‑seat stadium. UPA Asia also plans to host multiple PPA Tour Asia events at the venue beginning in 2027, while equipment brand JOOLA deepens its regional partnerships.

To support long‑term development, RacketPro APAC is conducting a Level 1 Coach Certification Tour in Manila, Cebu and Davao from late July to early August. The program aims to equip local coaches with internationally recognised education, structured methodologies and a professional development pathway, strengthening club standards and sustaining the sport’s growth.
