Philippines potential F-16 Viper fighter jet acquisition updated
The Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) has released updated information regarding a potential Foreign Military Sale of F-16 Block 70/72 Viper multirole fighter jets to the Philippine Air Force.
The proposed sale involves at least 20 aircraft, consisting of 16 single-seater F-16Cs and four dual-seat variants. This acquisition is part of the Philippine Air Force’s Multirole Fighter Jet Acquisition Program, aimed at enhancing air defense capabilities and providing firepower that exceeds the current FA-50PH fleet.
