Photography exhibitions announced in Cinisello Balsamo and Monza

The Museo Nazionale di Fotografia is hosting the Ubiqua Festival at Villa Ghirlanda in Cinisello Balsamo. Running from September 18 to 20, the event explores the intersection of photography and music through four distinct exhibitions. These include works by artists such as Jacopo Benassi and Vincenzo Castella, as well as a collection titled ‘Vedere oltre. Fotografia e sacro’ featuring over 90 works by masters like Jodice and Giacomelli.

The festival also features outdoor exhibitions and live performances, including field recordings by the duo Trasmissione and a performance by violist Vladyslava Luchenko. This initiative is supported by the Ministry of Culture’s Photography Strategy 2025.

In Monza, the Musei Civici will host a collective exhibition titled ‘Il Parco di Monza tra realtà e magia’ from September 18 to 27, 2026. Curated by Vincenzo Lombardo, the show features works from 14 photographers of the Circolo Fotografico Monzese. The exhibition offers various interpretations of the Monza Park and Royal Gardens, ranging from documentary styles to artistic compositions focusing on light, fog, and landscape details.
