Phu Tho accelerates land database completion and stalled project resolution

Phu Tho province is implementing a 180-day intensive campaign to complete and standardize its land database across 148 communes and wards. The initiative aims to ensure data is “correct, sufficient, clean, and live” to improve land management, facilitate administrative procedures, and support digital transformation in the natural resources and environment sector.

As of August 21, the province has synchronized three data blocks—spatial data, attribute data, and scanned records—for 926,308 out of 1,348,538 total land parcels, representing a 68.69% completion rate. While 738,472 parcels meet the full criteria, significant work remains to cross-reference residential data for over 187,000 parcels and complete synchronization for another 422,230 parcels.

Simultaneously, the province is working to resolve 13 long-standing stalled projects to unlock economic resources. These projects involve complex legal histories and various regulatory sectors. Eight projects are being reviewed under specific mechanisms to address legal violations occurring before the 2024 Land Law took effect, while five others may qualify for special policies under Resolution No. 29/2026/QH16 to resolve issues related to inspections and court rulings.
