Phu Tho province implements digital literacy campaign

The “Digital Literacy for All” campaign is expanding across Vietnam’s Phu Tho province, aiming to establish a foundation for digital citizenship through hands-on training and community outreach. The initiative utilizes various models, including “Digital family,” “Digital market,” and “Every citizen - One digital identity,” to integrate technology into socio-economic development.

In the Doan Hung commune, the campaign involves a broad mobilization of the political system, including police, youth and women's organizations, farmers' associations, and schools. Sixty-seven community digital technology teams conduct door-to-door outreach to assist residents with digital platforms.

Key achievements in Doan Hung include training over 23,580 adults in digital skills, activating more than 25,300 electronic identification accounts, and assisting over 23,400 citizens with the installation of the VNeID application. The program also promotes cashless payments, online public services, personal data protection, and awareness regarding online scams.
