Pia Skrzyszowska places fifth at Diamond League in Lausanne

At the Diamond League meeting in Lausanne, Pia Skrzyszowska secured fifth place in the 100m hurdles final. The race was won by American Masai Russell, who set a new meeting record with a time of 12.27 seconds. Nadine Visser of the Netherlands took second place, followed by Alaysha Johnson of the United States in third.

In the women’s 800m event, Swiss athlete Audrey Werro won the race with a time of 1:55.33, establishing a new meeting record. She narrowly defeated Femke Broeders-Bol of the Netherlands, who finished in 1:55.41.

Skrzyszowska, who recently earned a silver medal at the European Championships in Birmingham, noted that despite the five-week training break without competitions, she is satisfied with her performance and technical progress.
