Piața Revoluției hosts community cultural event in Bucharest

Piața Revoluției in Bucharest is hosting ‘Grădina Întâlnirilor’ (Garden of Encounters), a temporary one-week urban intervention designed to transform the public space into a hub for community engagement and culture.

Organized by the Asociația Străzi pentru Oameni (SpO) in co-production with the Bucharest City Hall through ARCUB and in partnership with the Museum of Communism in Bucharest, the event features over 30 free activities. The program includes guided tours, exhibitions, workshops, and discussions regarding the city’s identity and safety.

Scheduled activities include ‘Speed Dating with the Administration’ to facilitate direct dialogue between citizens and officials, as well as panels on the ‘Bucharest Brand’ featuring General Mayor Ciprian Ciucu. Other events range from crochet workshops to artistic evenings and community initiatives, all aimed at encouraging residents to interact within this historically significant location.
