Piedmont tops Italy’s ITS Academy rankings for vocational training

The Piemonte region has been placed first nationwide in the latest Indire monitoring of ITS Academy programmes. Of the 39 courses offered in the region, 29 received awards, representing 74.4% of all recognised pathways and placing Piemonte ahead of Emilia‑Romagna, Umbria and other regions.

Nationally, the monitoring covered 506 programmes that ended on 31 December 2024, involving 13 195 students, of whom 9 991 (75.7%) graduated. Among the graduates, 80% secured employment within 12 months, and 91.7% of those jobs matched the field of study. The region’s seven ITS foundations all recorded awarded courses, with the Sustainable Mobility‑Aerospace‑Mechatronics foundation ranking 1st, 2nd and 3rd overall.

Regional training assessor Daniela Cameroni said the result shows that “investing in merit, quality training and dialogue with companies creates real opportunities for young people and drives territorial development.” The regional government plans to continue expanding ITS Academy support to further align education with labour‑market needs.
