Piedras Negras gas explosions leave one dead and four injured

Two simultaneous gas leak explosions in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, resulted in one death and four injuries.

The most severe incident was caused by a failure in gas conduits or a main container, leading to a powerful blast that killed one person at the scene and caused extensive material damage. A second explosion occurred shortly after under similar circumstances, injuring four other individuals.

Paramedics and emergency responders transported the injured to a local hospital for monitoring. Civil Protection and Firefighters, along with inspectors from the State Attorney General's Office, have cordoned off the affected areas to conduct investigations and determine the exact causes of the accidents.
