Pierre Emmanuel Binyam clarifies stance on MRC leadership transition

Pierre Emmanuel Binyam, a former candidate in the Mouvement pour la Renaissance du Cameroun (MRC) national leadership elections, has issued a statement denouncing attempts to use his name to attack the party.

Following the October 17 convention that saw Tiriane Balbine Noah elected to lead the MRC, Binyam clarified that he has not authorized anyone to speak on his behalf or engage in initiatives against the party. He noted that while he withdrew his candidacy shortly before the vote due to concerns regarding organizational irregularities, he remains attached to the political formation.

Binyam warned against the instrumentalization of his name and that of his colleagues by individuals seeking to settle grievances or destabilize the party. He emphasized that political disagreements should be handled responsibly and with respect for the party's members and collective interests.
