Pierre Gasly Restored to Third Place After Alpine Appeal at Monaco Grand Prix

Alpine successfully appealed the two five‑second penalties imposed on French driver Pierre Gasly for exceeding the 60 km/h pit‑lane speed limit during the Monaco Formula 1 Grand Prix. The FIA accepted new evidence that the timing distance used to calculate the speed was inaccurate, canceling the penalties and reinstating Gasly's original third‑place finish.

The reversal moved Red Bull’s Izraïl Aït Sahli, McLaren’s Oscar Piastri and Racing Bulls’ Liam Lawson down one position each, confirming the final podium for the race in Monaco.
