Pierre Gasly secures single point for Alpine at Dutch Grand Prix
Pierre Gasly secured a single point for Alpine at the Dutch Grand Prix in Zandvoort, finishing in 10th place. Despite introducing technical upgrades that showed early promise, Gasly struggled during the main race following a chaotic period involving red flags and restarts.
Gasly’s race was impacted by aggressive defensive driving from Racing Bulls’ Arvid Lindblad, which allowed drivers such as Nico Hülkenberg and Yuki Tsunoda to overtake him. While the upgrades helped Gasly move from his P11 starting position into the points, the team faced challenges maintaining position during the latter stages of the race.
In the same event, Franco Colapinto finished 14th after receiving a drive-through penalty for an incident on the opening lap. The Grand Prix was won by Lando Norris, followed by Kimi Antonelli and George Russell.
