Pingtung to host 2026 Festival on the Slope this October

The 2026 Festival on the Slope is scheduled to take place from October 3 to 4 at the Lin Hou Si Lin Flat Forest Park in Chaozhou Township, Pingtung County. This annual Indigenous arts and culture event focuses on music, art, and design to promote cultural exchange and creative industry development.

Key highlights of this year’s festival include a band competition featuring six finalist groups from across Taiwan, and the inaugural ‘Festival on the Slope Life Design Award,’ which showcases 27 entries that integrate Indigenous culture and traditional crafts into modern lifestyle products.

The event will feature musical performances from various artists, including pop, hip-hop, and original Indigenous music. Additionally, the SIUBAI specialty market will host over 109 stalls offering local food, cultural crafts, and lifestyle brands.
