Piraeus Port Authority to establish new logistics subsidiary

Piraeus Port Authority (OLP) has decided to establish a new wholly-owned subsidiary named ‘PYLI EFOÐIASTIKH ALYSIAS PEIRAIAS MONOPROSOPI A.E.’, based in Piraeus. The Board of Directors approved the decision on October 19, 2026.

The new company will focus on providing integrated logistics, transport, and port-related services. Its scope includes the development and operation of warehouses, distribution centers, and the movement and storage of goods, alongside providing technological solutions.

Additionally, the subsidiary will engage in real estate management and the development, financing, and implementation of business projects both in Greece and abroad. Target sectors include tourism, hospitality, energy, infrastructure, transport, environment, and technology. The initial share capital of the subsidiary will be €30,000, with OLP holding 100% ownership. This move aligns with OLP’s strategy to accelerate its investment program, specifically regarding the creation of a new Logistics Centre and the expansion of cruise services.
