Pisa offers municipal spaces for temporary commercial projects
The Municipality of Pisa has launched a ‘Call for ideas’ as part of the ‘Pisa is much more – Botteghe, idee e futuro’ project. The initiative aims to drive commercial regeneration through the temporary reuse of unused municipal properties.
Two specific locations have been identified: the Giardino Scotto kiosk on Lungarno Leonardo Fibonacci 2 and the former Bar Nerone on Via Luigi Bianchi 4. Selected participants will be able to host entrepreneurial, commercial, artisanal, or cultural projects for an approximate duration of three months without paying a rental fee.
The project involves a total investment of 70,000 euros, with 42,000 euros funded by the Tuscany Region. The financial plan also covers costs for the restoration, cleaning, and utility usage of the premises during the period of use. Interested parties must submit their applications via certified email by 12:00 PM on Wednesday, September 30.
