Pizza delivery driver shot during robbery in Lanús, Argentina

A 60‑year‑old pizza delivery driver identified as Daniel was shot in the abdomen while making a delivery on the corner of Ucrania and Pedernera streets in Lanús, Buenos Aires Province. The assailant, who arrived in a grey Volkswagen Gol, demanded the driver’s vehicle keys and opened fire at close range before fleeing with an accomplice.

Daniel was taken to Hospital Evita, where doctors removed the bullet that had lodged in his abdominal fat, noting that no vital organs were damaged. Police are reviewing security‑camera footage to identify the perpetrators, but no arrests have been made yet.
