Plane crash in Marília, São Paulo kills two

A small private aircraft (PT‑MDB) crashed near the Frank Miloye Milenkovich airport in Marília, interior São Paulo, on 10 June 2026. The accident occurred shortly after take‑off, striking an area close to a local football field. Two occupants, pilots Gabriel Maloni da Cruz and Henrique Guariente, were killed and a third passenger, identified as Pablo, was rescued with injuries.

The Brazilian Air Force’s CENIPA has opened an investigation into the causes of the crash, examining factors such as possible excess weight. The aircraft was listed as having regular airworthiness status by ANAC. Emergency responders, including seven fire‑engine crews, the fire department and SAMU, attended the scene and provided medical assistance.
