Planned Power Cuts Hit Montenegro Municipalities and Belgrade
On Thursday, July 16, electricity distribution company CEDIS announced scheduled network work that will temporarily cut power to parts of numerous municipalities across Montenegro. Outages are planned between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., affecting neighborhoods in Podgorica, Tuzi, Danilovgrad, Cetinje, Bar, Ulcinj, Kotor, Berane, Rožaje, Plav, Petnjica, Andrijevica, Bijelo Polje, Kolašin, Mojkovac, Žabljak, Šavnik, Pljevlja, Nikšić and other localities. The purpose is to improve the quality and safety of electricity supply.
Separately, Elektrodistribucija Srbije (EDS) released a list of planned electricity interruptions for Saturday in Belgrade. The outages will affect various districts and streets, including Voždovac, Novi Beograd, Zemun, and many others, with start times ranging from early morning until late afternoon. Residents are advised to check whether their street is on the list.
Both announcements are part of routine maintenance aimed at upgrading the power grid and ensuring reliable service.
