Planned power outages announced in Skopje and Troyan

Planned electrical power outages have been announced for several regions in North Macedonia and Bulgaria due to technical maintenance and infrastructure repairs.

In North Macedonia, EVN Macedonia scheduled power interruptions in parts of Skopje. In the Ilinden municipality, the Belvi settlement and facilities including the Belvi Motel and Ceza Komerc will experience outages from 06:00 to 13:00. Additionally, users connected to the Indzhikovo 2 transformer station in the Gazi Baba municipality will face interruptions from 09:00 to 13:00.

In Bulgaria, the State Electricity System Operator (ESO) notified ERM Zapad of planned repair activities at the Troyan 2 substation. On August 20, 2026, between 10:00 and 16:00, power outages are expected in the town of Troyan and the villages of Balkanets, Beli Osam, and Chiflik within the Troyan municipality, Lovech region.
