Planned power outages hit Ruse and Varna regions in Bulgaria
From July 29 to July 31, 2026, electricity supply will be interrupted in parts of the Ruse region, including the villages of Cenovo, Prosenа, Dolno Ablanovo, Novо Selo, Nikolovo and surrounding streets, due to urgent repairs on power delivery facilities. Specific windows are 8:30‑16:00 on July 29 and 9:00‑12:30 on July 30 for the listed locations.
On July 30‑31, 2026, scheduled cuts will also affect the Varna province. Outages are planned for the towns of Ignatievo, Dobrоgled, Prіpek, Slŭnchevo, Banovo, Dolishte‑Southwest, Neofit Rilski, Momčilovo, Štipsko, Petrov Dol and Devnya‑Povеляново, with staggered shutdowns from 8:00 to 17:00 to limit total service loss. All interruptions are caused by urgent maintenance of electricity distribution infrastructure.
