Alexander Aslani, plastic surgeon, shot dead in Marbella clinic

Dr. Alexander Aslani, a 57-year-old internationally recognized plastic surgeon and founder of the Cirumed Clinic, was shot and killed inside his clinic in Marbella, Spain, on Wednesday, October 7, shortly before 6:00 PM. The attacker, described as a masked individual wearing black clothing and a helmet, entered the facility and fired multiple shots at the doctor's head. The assailant fled the scene on a high-powered motorcycle, possibly assisted by a driver in a car.

Spanish National Police have arrested an 18-year-old Swedish national of Maghrebi origin in connection with the murder. Investigators believe the suspect may have been a contract killer who traveled to Spain specifically for the execution. The judicial investigation has been declared secret.

While several motives are being explored, a primary line of inquiry suggests the killing may have been an assassination ordered by a dissatisfied patient regarding cosmetic results. Authorities are also investigating whether the motive relates to a dispute over a refund for a procedure. At this stage, investigators have ruled out links to organized crime.
