PlayStation Plus to remove GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 in November

Sony has announced that several major titles will leave the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium game catalogs on November 17, 2026. Among the most significant departures are Rockstar Games' Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption 2.

The removal of these titles occurs just two days before the scheduled launch of Grand Theft Auto VI on November 19. While some analysts suggest this may be a strategic move to focus player attention on the new release, others note that these titles have cycled in and out of subscription services previously.

In addition to the Rockstar hits, ten games in total are set to depart the service, including Football Manager 26, The Talos Principle 2, Cricket 24, and Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom.

Conversely, the service is updating its lineup with new additions for October. New titles arriving for Extra and Premium members include Mafia: The Old Country, Horizon Forbidden West, and Mycopunk. Premium subscribers will also have access to game trials for Mortal Shell 2 and Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy starting October 20.
