Sony’s July 2026 PlayStation Plus announcements introduced the month’s free‑game slate—Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, For the King II and CrossCode—available from 7 July and redeemable until 3 August.

The August 2026 lineup, offered to all Plus subscription tiers (Essential, Extra, Premium), adds Dying Light 2 Stay Human Reloaded Edition (PS5/PS4), the co‑op adventure Big Walk (PS5 only) and the retro‑horror Signalis (PS4 only). Subscribers can claim these titles from 4 August, with the claim window closing on 31 August (the catalogue may close on 1 September in some regions). Each game must be added to the user’s library before the deadline and remains attached as long as the PlayStation Plus subscription stays active.

A Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls pack launches on 6 August, automatically crediting all members. The pack supplies five themed avatars—Captain America, Storm, Spider‑Man, Doctor Doom and Ghost Rider—and result‑screen poses for twenty launch characters. It is claimable on PS5 and PC for one year and will be removed on 6 August 2027.

July’s free titles stay redeemable through 3 August; after that, the August games become the sole free‑game offering for the month. The announcement also confirms that PlayStation 4 titles continue to be offered despite Sony’s earlier plan to phase them out.
