PlayStation Plus updates August 2026 catalog and announces September departures

Sony has updated the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium catalogs for August 2026. New additions include Helldivers 2, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, Vampire Survivors, Hell is Us, Metro Exodus, and Dying Light 2 Stay Human. Premium subscribers also gain access to Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams and Disney’s Atlantis: The Lost Empire.

Due to a staggered release schedule, some titles like Hell is Us, Umamusume Pretty Derby – Party Dash, Two Point Museum, Metro Exodus, and Dying Light 2 will arrive in the US, UK, and Japan on August 25, while other regions receive them on August 18.

Concurrently, Sony announced several titles will depart the service on September 15, 2026. The departing list includes Persona 5 Tactica, Madden NFL 26, and the Shadowrun trilogy (Returns, Dragonfall, and Hong Kong). Additionally, the Premium tier will lose the classic titles Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear to the Rescue and Toy Story 3, ahead of a new Disney collection scheduled for October 2026.
