PlayStation Plus to remove seven games from library in September

PlayStation Plus is scheduled to remove seven titles from its Extra and Premium tiers on September 15, 2026. The departing games include Madden NFL 26 for PS5, Persona 5 Tactica for PS5 and PS4, and several entries from the Shadowrun series, including Shadowrun Returns, Shadowrun: Hong Kong – Extended Edition, and Shadowrun: Dragonfall – Director’s Cut.

Notably, the removal includes classic titles such as Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear to the Rescue (PS1) and Toy Story 3 (PSP). The departure of these Disney/Pixar titles coincides with reports of a new Toy Story: Retro Roundup! collection and a standalone release of Toy Story 3: Complete Edition, though reports vary on whether these new releases will arrive in September or October.

Unlike the Essential tier, where redeemed monthly games remain accessible as long as a subscription is active, access to games in the Extra and Premium catalogs ends once the titles are removed from the service.
