PLAZA launches Halloween candy and goods promotion across Japan

PLAZA is launching a Halloween promotion titled ‘Spooky Candy Treats!! Tick-tock, It’s HALLOWEEN’ at stores across Japan. Running from September 18 to October 29, 2026, the event features a variety of themed sweets and seasonal goods designed to resemble an overseas candy shop.

Featured confectionery includes ‘Hitchees Spider Mystery’ gummies, which are black in appearance with unknown flavors, and ‘Horror Teeth Gummies’ packaged in coffin-shaped boxes. Other items include ‘Ghost Lollipops’ that change the consumer's tongue color and new pumpkin and ghost-shaped marshmallows from the American brand PEEPS.

The promotion also includes exclusive items such as a three-piece brownie box from the New York-based specialty shop Fat Witch New York, featuring original, marron, and pumpkin flavors. In addition to food, the stores will stock Halloween-themed decorations, including pumpkin and ghost lights and various wrapping goods.
