Plenilunio Santa Cruz festival to feature 500-drone light show

The 18th edition of the Plenilunio Santa Cruz festival begins on Friday, October 2, featuring a variety of cultural and technological activities. A major highlight is a drone light show performed by the company UMILES, which will utilize more than 500 drones to create complex aerial choreography. The show will have two sessions at 20:30 and 22:00, viewable from the maritime avenue promenade in front of the Cabildo de Tenerife.

The festival also emphasizes local heritage and interactive experiences. New additions to the program include the Masonic Temple, which will host a 90-minute participatory activity titled ‘Mystery in the Temple,’ allowing participants to engage in an investigation inspired by the building's history. The programming aims to combine music, workshops, and museum activities to encourage residents and visitors to rediscover the city's history and art.
