The 18th edition of the Plenilunio festival in Santa Cruz de Tenerife is scheduled for October 2 to 4, centered on the theme of the ‘Four Elements’ (Earth, Air, Fire, and Water). The municipal government is allocating over 700,000 euros to the event to revitalize the local economy.

A primary highlight is the ‘Drone Light Show 500 Los Cuatro Elementos’ by Umiles Entertainment. On the opening night, Friday, October 2, more than 500 drones will perform two 13-minute choreographed shows at 20:30 and 22:00. These can be viewed from the Paseo de la Avenida Marítima near the Tenerife Town Hall and the Cabildo de Tenerife.

In addition to the technological spectacle, the festival aims to connect cultural, gastronomic, and musical activities. New programming includes a 90-minute participatory activity at the Masonic Temple titled ‘Mystery in the Temple,’ which invites participants to engage in an investigation inspired by the building’s history.

Musical events will span the weekend. On Saturday, October 3, the Avenida Marítima will host artists such as Santora DJ, Daniela Garsal, Lewis Potter, and the Canarian group LOCOPLAYA. The ‘Acousticland’ program will also feature acoustic sets in locations including La Rosa street and San Francisco square.
