PLN accelerates 150 kV transmission project in Morowali

PT PLN (Persero) through its Sulawesi Development Unit (UIP) is accelerating the construction of electricity infrastructure in Morowali, Central Sulawesi. The project includes the 150 kV Bungku-ACN High Voltage Overhead Line (SUTT) and the 150 kV Bungku Extension Substation (GI).

Senior Manager Ndaru Seto Widiatmoko and Project Implementation Unit Manager Yogi Yohannes Siburian conducted field inspections to monitor progress and identify potential obstacles. The inspection covered conductor stringing at various tower sections, including Tower 82 and Tower 109, as well as the readiness of supporting infrastructure for customer PT ACN.

PLN aims to have the project ready for energization by December 2026. The company is utilizing cross-unit coordination to ensure that construction, testing, and commissioning meet safety, quality, and reliability standards.
