PLN conducts electrical maintenance and load adjustments in Indonesia

PT PLN (Persero) is conducting various infrastructure maintenance and load management activities across Indonesia to ensure electrical system reliability.

In Central Kalimantan, the PLN Transmission Implementation Unit (UPT) Palangkaraya is performing Right of Way (ROW) clearing along the Buntok–Muara Teweh transmission line. This preventive measure aims to secure the network from vegetation and tree interference ahead of National Customer Day. The team is targeting 23 network spans, with 19 high-risk spans already addressed.

In South Sulawesi, the PLN Sungguminasa Customer Service Unit (ULP) has scheduled load adjustments in the Gowa Regency for the night of September 11, 2026. The maintenance is expected to affect several areas, including parts of Tombolalang, Bonto-Bontoa, and Batang Kaluku, as well as various streets and public facilities. PLN noted that the schedule is an initial estimate and may change as the Sulbagsel electrical system undergoes a recovery transition.
