PLN ensures power reliability in Palu and maintains 2026 electricity tariffs

PT PLN (Persero) UP3 Palu ensured a reliable electricity supply during the Sea Love Day activities held on September 2–3, 2026, in Palu and Sigi. The event was attended by several high-profile figures, including Selvi Ananda Gibran, wife of Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, and Sri Suparni Bahlil, wife of Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia.

Usman Bangun, General Manager of PLN UID Suluttenggo, stated that the zero down time achieved during the strategic event demonstrates PLN's commitment to customer satisfaction. This follows the spirit of National Customer Day observed on September 4.

Separately, PLN has facilitated easier access for customers to check monthly bills and electricity tariffs via the PLN Mobile application. For the third quarter of 2026 (July–September), the government has maintained existing electricity tariffs without increases. Rates vary by customer category, such as 450 VA subsidized at Rp415 per kWh and 1,300 VA at Rp1,444.70 per kWh.
